Life at Imago

The traditions and rituals of the Imago School are undoubtedly what contribute to an inexplicably warm atmosphere and community.  Whether daily, weekly, or annually, the rhythms of Imago are both soothing and thought-provoking.

Daily, our students attend Chapel, replete with songs of worship and Scripture readings. We value outdoor play, and daily multiple recesses are a highlight for all.  The end-of-day dismissal is signaled by a well-loved and very loud bell.

Some annual highlights for our school family are:

  • The Beginning-of-the-Year Picnic
  • The Math-a-thon for St. Jude Children’s Hospital
  • Winterfest (just too wacky to explain, it must be lived!)
  • The  school-wide Jog-a-thon
  • The all-school Thanksgiving Feast
  • The Upper and Lower School Fine Arts Revue
  • The Lessons & Carols Christmas Service

Interspersed amongst these special events are pizza days, dress-down days, “leaf-raking for candy” days, and a myriad of memory-making occasions.

The conveyance of what Imago is cannot occur merely on a website or via a quick glance at this web page.  You really must experience it to understand it fully and so, above all, we invite you to visit, talk with us and our families, and discover in person what and who we are.
